Firecracker...

I have been waiting a long time to check this movie out. It's a thriller/suspense type movie with a really different art style. So far all the reviews have been really positive, so if you ever get a chance make sure you check this movie out. Since it is an independent movie, it probably won't get much publicity and you'll have to look hard to find it, but it looks like it will be worth it. Definetly not for kids though.

Xbox 360 pricing

The Xbox 360 will release later this year (November I say) with two different packages:

$399 bundle that includes a 20 gig hard drive, a wireless controller, HD component cables, Xbox Live silver account, an Xbox Live headset, and a remote control for watching DVD's and that is compatable with a Media Center PC.

The $299 bare bones model comes with a wired controller, and standard red, white, and yellow AV cables.

I will personally be going with the $399 package. There is way too much stuff in there to pass up on since if i bought it all seperately I would be spending close to 600 bucks. I have already put close to $200 down just by trading in old games, by the time the system comes out I will probably have it paid off just by turning in my old systems and games. Here is a link to show you how much the accessories are.

NHL 2K6

NHL 2K6 comes out Sept. 6 and will once again be only $19.99. I have been dying for this game to come out since last year's game was my favorite hockey game of all time. I might go as far to say that it is my favorite sports game of all time. My brother and I played it until 4 in the morning the other day, and every game was down to the wire...except for the last one, but out of respect for my brother, I won't reveal the results of the beating. Anyways, anyone who has an Xbox and that likes hockey should pick this game up. I would like to start an online league with this game, if you are interested, let me know in the comments section. If you want a better look at the game and what it has to offer, check out this link.

Madden for the Xbox 360

http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/8940/Madden-NFL-06-NextGen-Movie/

I have decided not to buy Madden 2006 for the current Xbox after playing it for a few days, having it on my modded Xbox is enough. I will however be buying it for the 360. By the way.. Madden 360 is going to be INSANE!

My favorite cd's of all time.

Since I am bored as hell and the kids are being good (watching cartoons) I figured now would be as good a time as ever to make my list of my favorite cd's of all time. They are in no particular order and I will probably be adding comments to it when I have the time. So here we go.

50-Eddie Money "Souperhits" I know. He's cheesy, but the man has more classics to his name than you think. Every time I pop this in at work, people are like "holy shit! I didn't know this was an Eddie Money song!" Show the man some respect damnit!
49-Guns n' Roses "Use Your Illusion I"
48-Fantomas "The Director's Cut"
47-Type O Negative "Bloody Kisses" I guess watching all that headbanger's ball really paid off.
46-Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon"
45-Deftones "White Pony"
44-Faith No More "King for a Day, Fool For a Lifetime"
43-Incubus "morning view" Took me a while to really get into this one, but it is one of my most played cd's at the moment.
42-Stone Temple Pilots "4"
41-Tool "Lateralus"
40-Motley Crue "Dr. Feelgood"
39-Dredg "El Cielo" I saw these guys open up for the Deftones last year, and heckled the living shit out of them. Then I sobered up and realized they were good.
38-Life of Agony "River Runs Red" A classic
37-Metallica "Mater of Puppets"
36-Eminem "The Slim Shady LP" Not a big fan of the rap shit, but the stories he tells in this cd are classic.
35-Nine Inch Nails "Broken" I remember Dave calling this cd "static" when I first bought it. little did he know.
34-Mr. Bungle "California" An aquired taste. so many layers of music to dig through, i still hear something new every time I listen to it.
33-Audioslave "out of exile" Kinda meh, but a decent cd to put on while you're having a cookout.
32-Team Sleep "team sleep" One of my new favorite bands. If you have a chance, definetly get this cd.
31-Sysem of a Down "steal this album" I like it more than toxicity, and these are the songs that didn't make the album
30-Green Day "American Idiot"
29-Tomahawk "Mit Gas"
28-Bush "Sixteen Stone"
27-Nirvana "Nevermind"
26- Alice In Chains "Unplugged"
25- Tool "Aenima"
24-Incubus "Make yourself"
23- Faith No More "Album of the year"
22- Stone Temple Pilots "Core"
21- Pantera "The Great Southern Trendkill"
20- Alice in Chains "Dirt"
19-Deftones "Deftones"
18-The doors "greatet hits"
17 A perfect circle "mer de noms"
16-Nirvana "In Utero"
15- Fantomas "Suspended Animation"
14-Led Zepplin "II"
13 Guns n Roses "Appetite for Destruction"
12 A Perfect Circle "13th Step"
11-Faith No More "The Real Thing"
10-Toadies "Rubberneck"
9-Metallica "S&M"
8 System of a Down "Mezmerize" Best cd I have heard in years.
7 Life of Agony "Broken Valley" Buy it now. I've told you a million times. You are only hurting yourself by not listening to it.
6-Alice in Chains "Alice In Chains"
5-Van Halen "1984"
4-Nirvana "Unplugged in New York"
3-Pantera "Far Beyond Driven"
2-Alice In Chains "Jar of Flies" I love this album. a
1-Faith No More "Angel Dust" This cd was so far ahead of its time that I still don't think any band has come close to reproducing the brilliance on this cd, except maybe system of a down's newest cd.

like I said, no particular order. i actually have quite a few that i can add to it, but i don't feel like it right now. ahh well, peace out.

Apparently..I have been "tagged"

I guess I gotta write 10 songs I have been jamming out to lately. Here ya go....

10-Blood and Thunder by Mastadon (I love the drumming)
9-Georgia by Ray Charles (beautiful piece of music)
8-Hello by Lionel Ritchie (this song is rediculous, I love it)
7-Ever (Foreign Flag) by Team Sleep ( makes me wish I was in high school)
6-Eyes Without a Face by Billy Idol ( HEY! You don't talk to Billy Idol that way!)
5-Lost in Hollywood by System of a Down (quality tune)
4-pushit by tool (one of my favorite tool songs)
3-Knife Party by the Deftones (you'll either love it or hate it)
2-Beaners by Tommy Chong (wal mart anthem)
1-Justified by Life of Agony (great song on a great cd. buy it immediatley)

I listen to so much music it's kind of hard to narrow things down to just 10 songs, I usually listen to a whole album a few times in a row. We should all do our top 10 or 20 favorite cd's of all time.

The Fam..

I can't believe they sat still long enough for this picture. Maybe next time we'll put some clothes on the kids and I won't be wearing my outfit from physical therapy.

If you look closely..you might find some pictures.

NHL on HDNET!

Just to give you guys an update, I emailed HDNET and asked them if they would indeed be carrying the NHL this season, and they replied that they are indeed still under contract with the NHL and we can expect 2 to 3 games a week from them all season long. Thank God. I would have been pissed if I was stuck watching the piece of shit Carolina Hurricanes all season on standard cable. That is all.

Madden 2006..

I got it today. A good five days before the rest of you will have it, but I can't play it on Xbox Live, not that it matters since nobody else has it. I must say, it is SUPERB. Thankfully, they have changed the controls from last year's and the game plays much better because of it. The defensive controls are identicle to NCAA 2006, so no more pressing B for the turbo. Thank God they changed that, I always hated that. The passing cone gimmick is going to take some getting used to, if I use it at all. The truck stick works like a charm, but don't expect to use it too often. And dropping back 20 yards (Mario) and than throwing the ball has been taken care of too. I can't stand playing people that have to exploit flaws the developer made, but I am sure people will find a whole new batch of crap to take advantage of this year. Anywho, the game is damn good and I look forward to playing some of you on Xbox Live.
