Xbox 360 pricing
The Xbox 360 will release later this year (November I say) with two different packages:
$399 bundle that includes a 20 gig hard drive, a wireless controller, HD component cables, Xbox Live silver account, an Xbox Live headset, and a remote control for watching DVD's and that is compatable with a Media Center PC.
The $299 bare bones model comes with a wired controller, and standard red, white, and yellow AV cables.
I will personally be going with the $399 package. There is way too much stuff in there to pass up on since if i bought it all seperately I would be spending close to 600 bucks. I have already put close to $200 down just by trading in old games, by the time the system comes out I will probably have it paid off just by turning in my old systems and games. Here is a link to show you how much the accessories are.

Turn in your old stuff man. You know EB and Gamestop will have trade in deals as launch time gets closer. I think the price is pretty fair considering how powerful the components are going to be inside. The video card alone would run 500 to 600 bucks. Plus the 3.2 Gig triple core processor with 512 of ram is just too much to pass up. Just imagine what the games will be like when developers master the technology. All the footage we have seen so far, including the Shawn Alexander pics I had up a few days ago, are from the alpha hardware that was running at roughly 30% of the systems capabilities. This thing is a beast, don't miss out because you think Billy G has to much money. If you think this is expensive, wait till we here how much the PS3 is, that thing comes with a blu-ray player and only supports blu tooth wireless. It will be much more expensive and even it won't come with a standard harddrive. And the games for that thing may not even look as good as the 360's since the PS3 has a weaker graphics processor, but it is slightly faster..although without a harddrive, that won't mean shit. I will end up buying both since both consoles have exclusive games that you can't get on the other one..I just happen to like the Xbox exclusive titles more the Sony's, that's why I will getting a 360 at launch and waiting a few years for the PS3 price drop. Christ...I really rambled on about that. later.

$399.99 is a deal for all of that.
I remember paying $499.99 for the Sega Saturn on the day it launched!
I will gladly give Billy Gates the money if he keep son with the gaming revolution. Integration with MSN Messenger and Xbox Live, aand all the other bells and whistles. Shit, I'll buy it because it reminds me of the Dreamcast.
Besides Tripp, the PS3 is going ot be more expensive than that and it comes with a boomerang.
